This custom printed wallpaper, ‘Copperopolis’, designed by Bill Taylor-Beales was part of a mural and heritage project in partnership with Swansea University & Pentrahafod School.
We were approached by Bill Taylor-Beales to supply, print, and install a 14-metre-wide mural wallpaper — a large-format piece designed to celebrate the history and heritage of Pentrehafod School in Swansea. The project was commissioned and funded by Swansea University, with the aim of transforming a long corridor wall into a striking visual timeline.

Following a multi-session consultation, Swansea University and creative practitioner Bill Taylor-Beales selected Digimura 2.1 for the mural — a premium wallpaper substrate chosen for its antimicrobial properties and durability. We supplied printed samples for review, and it was ultimately decided that the ‘Facade’ finish would deliver the best result for the 14-metre-wide printed wall mural. The final design beautifully captures the heritage of Pentrehafod School and now serves as a standout visual feature within the space.
