Yes. We produce print & cut vinyl decals using the latest Roland DG LG640 UV printer with Roland EUVP5 UV inks, followed by precision contour cutting on our Summa S3 True Tangential cutters. This combination delivers vibrant colour, exceptional durability and highly accurate cut-to-shape decals with outstanding repeatability.

Our GREENGUARD Gold Certified UV inks produce low VOC emissions, making them suitable for a wide range of indoor commercial, retail, exhibition and interior applications. Combined with precision contour cutting, we can produce everything from wall decals and product decals to logo decals, print & cut stickers and bespoke cut-to-shape graphics.

Yes. We produce removable wall decals designed for clean, residue-free removal for up to 12 months after initial application, making them ideal for homes, offices, retail environments, exhibitions and temporary branding.

Our removable wall decals are produced on a material containing a water-based acrylic removable adhesive, providing reliable adhesion while allowing the graphics to be removed cleanly when required.

Yes. We can produce custom vinyl decals in virtually any shape or size, from simple circles and rectangles to highly intricate logos, illustrations and bespoke contour-cut designs.

To achieve the highest level of accuracy, artwork should be supplied as a scalable vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) with a clearly defined cut path. This allows our Summa S3 True Tangential cutters to produce exceptionally clean corners, sharp detail and consistent repeatability, even on the most complex designs.

For the best results, bitmap artwork such as JPG, PNG or other raster formats should not be supplied for contour cutting, as these formats cannot generate accurate vector cut paths. If you're unsure whether your artwork is suitable, simply contact our team and we'll be happy to review your files and advise on any amendments before production.

A cut path is a vector outline that tells the cutter exactly where your decal should be cut. It should be supplied as a scalable vector file such as AI, EPS, PDF or SVG, with the cut path created as a closed vector path.

For the best results, create the cut path using a 100% Magenta spot colour, place it on a separate layer named "CUT", and apply the spot colour as a stroke only (no fill). This ensures the cut path is recognised correctly during production and allows us to produce accurate cut-to-shape vinyl decals with clean edges and exceptional detail.

If you're unable to create a cut path, don't worry. Simply send us your artwork and our team can create the cut path for you before production. We'll check your files, make any necessary amendments and provide a print-ready proof for approval before your decals go into production.

There are two main technologies used to produce cut-to-shape vinyl decals: drag-knife cutting and True Tangential cutting.

Drag-knife cutters rely on the blade naturally rotating as it changes direction. While this is suitable for simple shapes and larger graphics, it can be less accurate when producing small lettering, tight corners and intricate contour-cut designs.

At 5 Studio UK, we use Summa S3 True Tangential cutters with OPOS CAM Pro camera technology. Unlike drag-knife systems, the blade is actively controlled throughout every cut, while the OPOS camera accurately reads printed registration marks to compensate for any material movement during printing. The result is cleaner corners, sharper detail and exceptional print-and-cut accuracy, even on highly detailed graphics.
