After a successful project in early 2023 supplying Portable LED Lightboxes for Buddycare at short notice, we were later asked to help them plan a more strategic, long-term solution for their 2024 events across the UK, Europe, and the US. Our recommendation: a bespoke modular exhibition stand system — fully reconfigurable, scalable, and built for repeat use across different floorplans and venues. The Buddycare team embraced the idea, recognising the sustainability and cost-saving benefits of a custom modular approach.
For Crufts 2024, Buddycare secured a highly sought-after 7m x 4m island stand — located in a prime footfall area at one of the world’s largest consumer shows. Our challenge was to design a standout, bespoke modular exhibition stand for Crufts that not only showcased products but also included discreet storage for 10 pallets of stock — all while maintaining a clean, inviting space to engage with dog lovers, retailers, and press.
To bring the concept to life, our team installed the entire bespoke modular exhibition stand for Crufts over a two-day build at the NEC Birmingham. The system was engineered to integrate multiple features — including a custom-built MDF slatwall, a branded gondola-style product display, a 50” screen for digital content, and a fully enclosed storage room capable of holding 10 pallets of stock.
Additional retail-focused details like a built-in till station, branded countertops, and ambient LED backlighting ensured the stand felt like a premium, on-brand retail environment — right in the middle of the show floor. The time-lapse below captures the transformation from shell to showroom.
