In 2023, Supermicro approached us looking for a clean, professional way to represent their brand at European events. We supplied a 6m-wide portable lightbox display — a combination of fixed-size frames flanking a modular centrepiece lightbox — giving them an illuminated backdrop that was easy to transport, set up, and reuse.
This tailored setup provided both impact and practicality, laying the foundation for a reusable display that could be reconfigured or scaled for future events.
Later that same year, Supermicro returned with a new brief: to deliver a high-impact presence at CloudFest 2023 through a fully custom-built exhibition stand. Rather than starting from scratch, we helped them reimagine and reuse the modular lightbox we’d previously supplied — this time as a seamless, ultra-wide illuminated feature wall that became the visual centrepiece of the build.
The lightbox was precision-integrated into a clean architectural framework, framed by illuminated timber finishes and surrounded by custom cabinetry, interactive hardware, and AV. The result was a bold, brand-led environment that merged modular practicality with bespoke stand design — all tailored to support their goals for visibility, engagement, and reusability.
Following the success of CloudFest 2023, Supermicro continued to partner with 5 Studio UK for their European events — trusting us to deliver consistent impact across evolving formats.
